Gellis Family Saunter is a medium-bodied Robusto designed to be enjoyed slowly and without hurry. Handmade at Tabacalera La iSLA in Santiago, Dominican Republic, the 5.25 x 48 cigar uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut Desflorada wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and Dominican-Nicaraguan fillers. The tobaccos are aged for one year in Spanish cedar before boxing, giving the blend a polished, composed character.
Saunter opens with toasted white bread, cedar, cream, honey, and a light black-pepper note. As it develops, dried fruit, caramel, roasted nuts, light coffee, earth, and gentle baking spice add depth. The Connecticut wrapper provides a silky texture and a touch of natural sweetness, while the filler blend supplies enough wood, pepper, and savory character to keep the profile engaging.
Gellis Family Saunter is an ideal choice for smokers who want a nuanced Connecticut-style cigar with genuine complexity and a balanced medium body. Its creamy, lightly sweet profile is particularly well suited to morning coffee, tea, or a quiet afternoon with aged rum.
