The Serino Taíno Corona Gorda takes the balanced, flavorful character of the Taíno blend and presents it in a classic 6 x 46 format that emphasizes wrapper aroma and a more focused delivery. Handcrafted at La Corona in Estelí, Nicaragua, this Corona Gorda features an Ecuadorian Habano Medio wrapper over a Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 binder and a layered filler blend of Criollo ’98 and Corojo ’99 tobaccos from Estelí, Ometepe, and Jalapa.
Expect a medium-bodied profile of cracked cedar, marzipan, white chocolate, orange peel, leather, cinnamon, earth, and a measured peppery spice. The slimmer Corona Gorda shape keeps the Habano wrapper active throughout the smoke, bringing forward its aromatic sweetness and warm spice while the Nicaraguan tobaccos add structure, depth, and a smooth, steady progression through the finish.
The Serino Taíno Corona Gorda is an excellent choice for smokers who enjoy an elegant, traditional format with enough complexity to keep the experience interesting. It delivers a polished Nicaraguan Habano profile that works especially well with coffee, aged rum, bourbon, or any unhurried moment when balance and flavor take priority over raw strength.
