FQ Phenom No. 1 Robusto is a refined Connecticut-shade cigar that proves a lighter wrapper can still deliver depth and character. Made in Nicaragua, the 5 x 50 Robusto combines a blonde Connecticut Shade wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and aged fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The result is a smooth, upper-mild to medium-bodied cigar with balanced creaminess, gentle spice, and a notably clean finish.
The cigar begins with cream, cedar, toasted almond, sweet hay, and a light pepper accent. As it develops, cocoa, coffee, leather, earth, and subtle sweetness emerge, while the Connecticut wrapper keeps the profile soft and composed. A creamy nuttiness stays at the core of the blend, supported by enough Nicaraguan character to give the smoke structure without overpowering its elegance.
Phenom No. 1 Robusto is an excellent choice for smokers who enjoy a creamy Connecticut profile with more complexity than a typical mild cigar. It works well as a morning smoke or an easygoing afternoon cigar with coffee, tea, or a light-bodied bourbon.
