Gellis Family Marevas Connecticut is a refined Connecticut-shade interpretation of the Marevas concept, handmade in the Dominican Republic. This 5.5 x 48 Corona Gorda uses a silky Connecticut Shade wrapper over a Brazilian binder and Dominican-Nicaraguan fillers. The blend emphasizes creaminess, gentle sweetness, and balance while preserving the detailed construction and measured character associated with the Gellis family of cigars.
The cigar opens with sweet cedar, toasted almond, cream, and a bright citrus note reminiscent of orange creamsicle. As it develops, honey, light caramel, dried fruit, toasted bread, and soft wood notes build across a smooth, even smoke. A subtle herbal finish adds freshness without disrupting the cigar’s mild-to-medium profile.
Marevas Connecticut is an excellent choice for smokers seeking an elegant, nuanced Connecticut cigar with more depth than a traditional mild blend. Its creamy, lightly sweet profile makes it especially well suited to morning coffee, tea, or a gentle aged rum.
