The Crux Marblehead Maduro Toro swaps the original Marblehead's Ecuadorian Colorado habano wrapper for a dark Mexican San Andres leaf, laid over Nicaraguan binder and filler at Tabacalera Pages de Nicaragua S.A. Announced in May 2026 as the second blend in the Marblehead family, it keeps the line's signature 109-style Marblehead cap and value pricing. The 6 x 50 Toro smokes medium to full and earned a 90 from halfwheel.
Powdery cocoa nibs and dark chocolate lead, framed by aged oak and rich espresso. Charred meatiness and barbecue wood smoke give the cigar its backbone, with gritty earth underneath and red pepper on the retrohale. Maple syrup and raisin sweetness cut through, and creamy leather, sourdough bread, and anise carry the finish.
This is a lot of maduro for the money, and a natural everyday smoke for anyone who leans dark. Pair it with black coffee, a porter, or a bourbon after work. Sold in 20-count boxes of four five-pack bundles, it is built to be bought by the box rather than the single.
