The Oz Family Cigars World Cup LE 2026 is a genuine international squad in cigar form. Tim Ozgener built this limited edition around tobaccos from six countries tied to the 2026 World Cup — Brazil, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and the United States — with the filler drawing on five of them beneath a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper. Rolled at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí in a 6 x 50 Toro, it smokes with the weight and confidence you would expect from that address.
Black pepper and cayenne arrive early and stay assertive, riding over wood that deepens into charred wood and a solid earthy base. Milk chocolate and cocoa balance the spice, joined by salted almonds, a fig-like fruit sweetness, baking spices and anise, with coffee, leather and caramel filling out the final third.
Released in mid-June 2026 at $19.95 per cigar, production was capped at 2,026 boxes of ten — 20,260 cigars total — so this is very much a now-or-never release. Light one for a match, a milestone, or any evening that deserves a special bottle next to it; an aged rum or a bold red wine suits it well. If you collect limited editions or simply want a memorable Toro, don't wait on this one.
