Creekside Cigar Review: Cavalier Cigars Inner Circle
Dave here to do a quick cigar review with the new to our humidor Cavalier Inner Circle. 4.5 x 50, what a size, what a time to be alive to smoke cigars like this. All right, right off the rip, lots of really good smoke output, and then immediately greeted by [and this may be a little extra] but when I smoke predominantly Honduran cigars, I get this immediate sweet peanutty note that I've really grown to love. At first, it kind of like threw me off. And now when I reach for Honduran cigars, when I reach for Cavaliers, when I get that note, it's just like the best. Man, I just love the smoke output on this thing.
So far, no action or pepper on the palate. Doesn't really leave a long lingering aftertaste, which I'm liking right now, especially smoking this in the morning. We're into the second third. Toffee, peanut brittle. A little bit of like a chalkiness. Still keeping to its sweetness. Not a ton of changes into the last third, except for more of a mouthfeel change, which is heavy cream. This like kind of sweet and vanillacream that kind of coats the mouth, but it's not too heavy. Really enjoyed this one. I really recommend you all coming down. smoke it in this four and a half by 50, get that concentration of flavor because of its size and the vitola that it's in. Thank you all for hanging out, for listening to us when we rant here and for being a part of the community that we're building here at Creekside. It means the world to all of us that are a part of this amazing place. So thank you, thank you, thank you.
