So the Pan Caliente is a blend I’ve always loved, ever since first trying one in 2022. Imber actually gave me one back then and said “you need to smoke this.” To which i obviously replied “sounds good thanks dude”.
When I heard we were doing a Pan Caliente exclusive I was so stoked. I was hoping that cinnamon, bread, butter, and cream would stay, and boy did it.
The closed foot right off light up gives an intense burst of earth, slight spice, and bread for days. It’s a bold start to a bold experience. Right away, this cigar lets you know it’s not a typical Pan Caliente experience. The first third blooms into hickory smoke, leather, bread, cinnamon, and aromatic spice. It starts as a more energetic, more playful expression of the original Pan Caliente.
The second third sweetens up, the spice drops off, but the leather and hickory smoke stay. The cinnamon and cream take more of a priority in the overall profile, now backed by leather, earth, and a slightly sweet wood smoke. This is the point that I realized, this is more than a normal Pan Caliente. This expression is bolder, bigger, and more intense, and honestly, it’s awesome.
The final third is an absolutely lovely mix of espresso, dark chocolate, cedar, and cinnamon. From start to finish, the original blend is somewhere in there, but it’s surrounded by all of these new, more intense, more dynamic notes. It’s a very fun cigar to smoke, and it’s extremely interesting.
