The Serino Wayfarer The 109 is the signature Toro expression of the Wayfarer blend, using a classic Cuban-inspired 109 mold for a shape that feels both traditional and distinctive in hand. Handcrafted at La Corona in Estelí, Nicaragua, this 6 1/4 x 50 cigar features an Ecuadorian Corojo ’99 wrapper over a Jalapa-grown Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 binder and a layered Nicaraguan filler blend of Criollo ’98 and Corojo ’99 tobaccos from Jalapa and Estelí.
Expect a medium-bodied profile with cedar, leather, toasted coconut, pecan, cinnamon, milk chocolate, earth, and a measured peppery spice. The Corojo wrapper brings a warm aromatic sweetness and lively spice to the blend, while the Nicaraguan core gives it depth, structure, and a smooth, steady progression from first light through the finish. The 109 format provides a balanced draw and enough room for the flavors to open gradually without losing their focus.
The Wayfarer The 109 is a strong choice for smokers who appreciate classic Cuban styling paired with modern Nicaraguan craftsmanship. Its combination of detailed construction, medium-bodied balance, and Corojo-forward character makes it an easy fit for a slower afternoon smoke, coffee pairing, or a relaxed evening when you want complexity without excessive strength.
