The Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Connecticut Gran Robusto is a box-pressed 5 x 54 that delivers far more depth than a traditional Connecticut cigar. A darker-than-average Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper sits over a Nicaraguan binder and a core of Aganorsa-grown Nicaraguan tobaccos from Estelí and Jalapa. The result is a creamy, medium-bodied smoke with the texture and complexity that define the Aniversario line.
The cigar opens with fresh bread, lemon, cedar, roasted nuts, and a smooth buttery richness. As it develops, coffee, nougat, subtle earth, and black pepper build around the core flavors, giving the Gran Robusto structure without sacrificing its refined Connecticut character. Its broader, box-pressed format produces a cool, generous smoke and a long, satisfying finish.
This is an excellent Connecticut for smokers who want genuine flavor rather than a mild, one-dimensional profile. It works especially well with morning coffee but has enough body, spice, and Nicaraguan character to carry into the afternoon or evening.
