The Aganorsa Leaf Arsenio Robusto is a full-flavored Nicaraguan puro inspired by the personal blend of legendary master blender Arsenio Ramos. In a substantial 5.25 x 54 Robusto format, it uses a Jalapa-grown Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 wrapper, double Nicaraguan binders, and a carefully selected filler blend from Jalapa and Condega. The larger ring gauge gives the blend a rounder texture while preserving its unmistakable Aganorsa character.
The cigar opens with cedar, natural tobacco sweetness, creamy coffee, and black pepper. As it settles in, charred oak, cocoa, toasted nuts, cinnamon, and earthy spice build into a richer profile with a lively retrohale. The Robusto format provides generous smoke and a steady balance between the sweeter Jalapa tobacco and the firmer, more structured Estelí elements.
Arsenio Robusto is an excellent choice for smokers who want an authentic Nicaraguan experience with both power and refinement. It is flavorful and medium-to-full in character, but its depth comes from balance, not brute strength.
