The Aganorsa Leaf Rare Leaf Corojo Lonsdale is a refined Nicaraguan puro made from select, limited lots of Aganorsa tobacco. Its 6 x 44 Lonsdale format uses a Jalapa-grown Corojo ’99 wrapper over Criollo ’98 binder and a filler blend of Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98. The slim profile gives the blend a focused, aromatic expression while preserving Rare Leaf’s signature balance of sweetness, spice, and earthy depth.
The cigar opens with cedar, natural tobacco, dry hay, and a light citrus sweetness. As it develops, notes of milk chocolate, pecan, oak, pastry crust, honey, earth, and pepper add complexity without becoming harsh. The Lonsdale format keeps the smoke cool and clear, allowing the Corojo wrapper’s spicy-sweet character to remain present from first draw through the finish.
Rare Leaf Corojo Lonsdale is an excellent choice for smokers who enjoy elegant Nicaraguan puros with genuine character. It has enough spice and depth for experienced palates, but its balance, natural sweetness, and slim format make it a refined smoke rather than an overpowering one.
