The Aganorsa Leaf Signature Selection Corona Gorda is a refined Nicaraguan puro built from some of Aganorsa’s most select tobaccos. Rolled in a classic 6 x 44 Corona Gorda, it features a Jalapa-grown Rosado Claro Corojo ’99 wrapper over a Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 binder and a filler blend of Criollo ’98, Corojo ’99, and rare Medio Tiempo leaf. The result is a complex medium-to-full cigar with a creamy core, vibrant spice, and remarkable evolution.
The profile opens with cedar, butter, fresh bread, caramel, and roasted nuts, followed by floral sweetness, citrus brightness, and a warm pepper note. Through the middle, cocoa, coffee, malt, maple, leather, and subtle earth build around the cigar’s natural creaminess. The Corona Gorda format gives the smoke a balanced, elegant texture while allowing the Corojo wrapper’s spicy-sweet character to remain consistently present.
Signature Selection Corona Gorda is an ideal choice for smokers looking for a nuanced Nicaraguan puro with both richness and finesse. It is bold enough for an evening smoke but polished enough to reward a slow, attentive pace at any time of day.
