Description
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Corojo
Binder: Dominican Republic
Filler: Dominican, Nicaraguan, USA
Origin: Dominican Republic
Size: 5" x 50 Robusto
The Principle Cigars Aviator Series Envoi is the rich, complex introduction to the Aviator line. Rolled in a classic 5 x 50 Robusto format, Envoi features an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper over Dominican binder and a blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and U.S. fillers. Originally created by Hendrik Kelner for his own smoking, the blend balances structure, aromatic detail, and a composed medium-bodied character.
Envoi opens with cream, cedar, cocoa, roasted nuts, and a subtle natural sweetness. As it develops, earth, caramel, espresso, leather, and warm baking spice add depth, with a light pepper note becoming more noticeable toward the finish. The Robusto format keeps those flavors concentrated while preserving the blend’s smooth, refined texture.
This is a strong choice for smokers who enjoy a cigar with real evolution but no unnecessary aggression. Envoi pairs especially well with a mild whisky, smooth cognac, or black coffee and rewards an unhurried late-afternoon or evening smoke.
