Blended by Luis Cuevas Jr. and his son Alec as a tribute to the family's five-generation tobacco legacy, the Patrimonio ("patrimony") is one of the most personal releases in the Casa Cuevas lineup. A rich Honduran Corojo wrapper gives this cigar its distinctive reddish-brown hue and sets the stage for a layered, full-flavored smoke.
Expect cream, cedar, and white pepper up front, with baking spice, earth, and coffee developing through the middle third. The Peruvian filler adds a unique dimension you won't find in many Dominican-made cigars. Medium-full body with enough complexity to keep you engaged from light to nub.
Handmade at the family's Tabacalera Las Lavas factory in the Dominican Republic.
