The Warped El Oso Papa is a dark, deeply flavored belicoso wrapped in Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro over an Ecuadorian binder, with a filler blend drawing on Dominican and Nicaraguan leaf. It is rolled entirely by hand at El Titan de Bronze in Miami's Little Havana, one of the first lines Kyle Gellis launched when he relaunched Warped in 2014. The 6 x 48 PaPa is the largest expression of "the bear," and it smokes with the richness that oscuro wrappers promise.
Cedar and cocoa lead off, deepening into dark chocolate and anise as the cigar settles. White pepper keeps things lively, honeyed sweetness balances the spice, and dark fruit and black cherry emerge mid-way. The final third leans toward espresso and cream, closing on a long, satisfying note.
This is a cigar for the smoker who values small-batch, Miami-rolled craft and full flavor with real refinement. Set aside an evening, pour a neat bourbon or an espresso, and give it your full attention. Back on shelves after roughly seven years as a 2025 limited edition of just 1,500 boxes of ten, El Oso Papa is one to buy when you see it.
