The Buena Campania (5-pack) is a Creekside Cigar Co. house release, sold as a five-cigar pack of one consistent blend. Packaged as BUENA COMPANIA, Vol. 1 and stamped "Community Blended," it wears an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper and is rolled entirely by hand at Martinez Cigars, the fifty-plus-year-old hand-rolling factory in New York City, for Creekside alone.
What makes this one different is how it was built. Members of the Creekside Discord voted on the wrapper, the binder and the three filler tobaccos, with the poll results determining the percentage of each leaf in the blend. Creekside's Dave then took those results to the bench at Martinez and had the cigar assembled to the community's specifications, right down to the vitola, which was left to a later vote of its own.
This is a genuine shop cigar, made in small numbers for the people who hang around the lounge and the Discord. It is a great pick if you like knowing exactly where and by whom your cigars were rolled, or if you simply want a hand-rolled New York City smoke you cannot buy anywhere else.
