The Cubo Sumatra comes from Dapper Cigar Co.'s first cigar line, released when the boutique brand started in 2013. This medium-strength toro has a reddish Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed Colorado wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder. The filler blends U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf with Nicaraguan tobacco.
Once it's lit, you get a complex mix of earth, pepper, chocolate, and cedar. The retrohale is earthy and spicy. Each Cubo Sumatra is handmade in Nicaragua.
