Scoutmaster Coffee Cigar Blend is the coffee I roast for cigar smokers. It's a darker roast with notes of dark chocolate and caramel, a touch of berry and mild acidity, and a full body that holds up next to a good cigar without stepping on it.
A lot of coffee is roasted to stand on its own. Bright, high-acid cups can clash with the smoke, and very light roasts get buried by a fuller cigar. Cigar Blend is built around many of the same flavors you find in a premium cigar: cocoa, sweetness, toast and roasted depth. When the coffee and the cigar share flavors, each one brings out more in the other.
Tasting Notes: Dark chocolate, caramel, berry, mild acidity

About Scoutmaster Coffee
Scoutmaster Coffee is owned by Dave Imber, who also owns Creekside Cigar Co. It's roasted in the Cincinnati area around one idea: Coffee for Keeps. That means coffee you come back to every morning, not coffee you try once and forget.
Pairing Tip: Start with a medium-bodied cigar alongside your first cup, then move to a maduro or a fuller robusto for the second. Want the full experience? The Coffee and Cigar Sampler pairs a 12oz bag of Cigar Blend with seven premium cigars picked to go with it.
