The Crowned Heads Broadway Robusto Extra is a compact, box-pressed cigar built around the richness of Connecticut Broadleaf and the depth of three classic Nicaraguan growing regions. Rolled at NACSA in Nicaragua, the 4.75 x 52 Robusto Extra uses a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Jalapa binder and fillers from Jalapa, Ometepe, and Estelí. The result is a medium-to-full cigar with a dense texture, dessert-like sweetness, and a distinctly Nicaraguan core.
The cigar opens with cocoa powder, molasses, cedar, almond, and a soft creaminess. As it develops, espresso, dark roast coffee, earth, black pepper, ginger, orange zest, and a subtle hay-like dryness build around the profile. The broadleaf wrapper provides weight and sweetness, while the filler blend gives the smoke balance, spice, and a long, savory finish.
Broadway Robusto Extra is an excellent choice for smokers who enjoy fuller Connecticut Broadleaf cigars with real nuance. It offers the intensity and texture of a rich evening smoke while remaining smooth and composed enough to reward a slower, attentive pace.
