The Empyrean line is the crown jewel of EGM Cigars' portfolio, and the Heraldos is your entry point into something special. These are made in extremely limited numbers from aged Cibao Valley leaf in the Dominican Republic, rolled totalmente a mano by EGM's most experienced torcedores.
The Heraldos is the shortest vitola in the Empyrean lineup, coming in at 5 1/8" x 55 ring gauge in a format the factory calls Montesco. The wrapper is oily, evenly colored Dominican leaf that gives off a rich aroma of aged tobacco before you even light it. Each cigar features a protective foot band with the model name and ships in a striking blue and gold varnished 10-count box.
A little background on the name. Empyrean draws from the Greek word Empyros, meaning "in the fire." In ancient Greek cosmology, the Empyrean was the highest heaven, where the element of fire resided. Big name, and the cigar lives up to it.
